Pastor Jamal Bryan, wife and "The Dress" - be-035

This is not about attacking or defending the wife and her dress. The dress was obviously out of order for a child of God. Just ask a prostitute if she would love the dress. This blog is written for the men. The man is head of the wife, and accountability lands squarely at his feet.

Our King tells us to keep His commandments. It is written. 

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 

How should this man be dealt with according to our King's commandments?

He is out of order, so he should be approached by a child of God. He should be counseled on what is expected. If after this council there is no change, that is between the man and God. If the guilty man functions in a body of believers (organization), then one or two men along with the first councilor should approach him for further counsel. 

If after the second round of counseling the man keeps his same position, the next and last step is to tell all in the body/assembly what has happened, and then if there is still no change, then there will be no further fellowship with this man. 

This is the commandment explained in the Word.

Matt 18:15-17 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

As believers, we are charged with keeping our King's commandments (if we love Him).

I borrow some words from the Apostle Paul. Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you , that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Translation. Why are there so many different Interpretations of the Bible? - be-007

Why are there so many different interpretations of the Great Book? Leaders study the scripture and come up with a private interpretation. One man has his understanding, while another has his own. And it sounds sweet, it tickles the ears and attracts a following. They violate this statement made in the epistle.  (2 Peter 1:20 [KJV]) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. How does TTGM* deal with people who talk loud and hard on points based on a private interpretation? TTGM lets them talk.
