This is not about attacking or defending the wife and her dress. The dress was obviously out of order for a child of God. Just ask a prostitute if she would love the dress. This blog is written for the men. The man is head of the wife, and accountability lands squarely at his feet. Our King tells us to keep His commandments. It is written. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. How should this man be dealt with according to our King's commandments? He is out of order, so he should be approached by a child of God. He should be counseled on what is expected. If after this council there is no change, that is between the man and God. If the guilty man functions in a body of believers (organization), then one or two men along with the first councilor should approach him for further counsel.
