Be Still, what does it mean? - be-019

Bajan Eagle thinking about this verse's meaning. 

Ps 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 

Be Still, what does it mean?

We are born into a room called life. We come out and we get into all kinds of stuff as we grow. To be still we must stop moving. You know those problems that seem impossible to fix? The ones that feel like they have no solution? We often run from person to person, searching for answers. Sometimes, we can’t even sleep because the burden is so heavy on our minds.

Then, someone special in our room taps us on the shoulder and gently says, “Be still..... and know that I AM GOD."

When He moves and solves the problem it takes some time to get used to it. In my life, I have had so many of those moments. These days I move knowing when a huge problem shows its head, I stay still to allow the God who made us to do His thing (no more panicking). No more running around like a headless chicken. After He has done the deed, we can only exalt Him. For He IS GOD. He reminds us who He is.

Just make sure to invite Him into your room (life).

We Black people are STUPID/FOOLISH - be-005

I borrow some words from the Apostle Paul. Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you , that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Translation. O foolish " Black people ", who hath bewitched you, If you educate a fool, what do you get? An educated fool. Why are there so many different Interpretations of the Bible? - be-007

Why are there so many different interpretations of the Great Book? Leaders study the scripture and come up with a private interpretation. One man has his understanding, while another has his own. And it sounds sweet, it tickles the ears and attracts a following. They violate this statement made in the epistle.  (2 Peter 1:20 [KJV]) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. How does TTGM* deal with people who talk loud and hard on points based on a private interpretation? TTGM lets them talk. When they are done, TTGM asks, “show the scripture/epistle that supports your position.” It works every time. Crickets. LET THE SCRIPTURE INTERPRET ITSELF .
