Here’s the perspective. If you owned an organization, would you allow the general public to choose your board of directors? Would you then dismiss and replace that board every 4–5 years, not because they were failing, but simply because the “time” for another vote had arrived? And after this board was selected, would you permit them to run your business in secrecy, without transparency, without accountability, and without systems of measurement to ensure they acted in your best interest? If you would never run your business this way, why accept such a model for the organization called government ? Why entrust your entire country to a structure that breeds instability, short-term thinking, and a lack of responsibility? I’ve always heard it said: “The long arm of the law will catch up with the criminal.” In other words, if you steal and get away with another man’s wealth, it’s only a matter of time before justice finds you. And sometimes, it does. But not always. Most criminals die having escaped the law, with their stolen riches. Yet those who know better understand this truth: there is no ultimate escape . For after death comes judgment; for everyone. It is written.
